In celebration of Karina Montgomery and Colin Walsh’s wedding January 24, 2016, I made this quilt. Karina introduced Michael and me to each other back in the summer of 1994 at the Barley House in Dallas. I met Karina when I was living in Austin and going to graduate school; Michael has know her since they were babies.

The pattern is called Dancing Quills by Valori Wells. The directions were the worst I’ve ever encountered. It’s a small miracle it turned out as well as it did.
