I don’t remember how I found out about Quiltcon, but once I did, I knew I had to go. I arranged to work in Austin that Friday and then spend Friday night with my cousin Sarah Reed, and then stroll through the exhibit halls on Saturday. The quilts I’ve been making since are definitely more modern. Once I found out about a Quiltcon and the Modern Quilt Guild which sponsored it, I thought, “Hmmm wonder if there is a Modern a Quilt Guild near me.” That’s how I found the Dallas Modern Quilt Guild.
