I made this quilt for my friend Sandy. She wanted a mid-century modern quilt and picked out the pattern. We worked together to pick out the main fabric choices. I supplemented from the closet of scraps with pieces that went well together. The pattern is Atomic Starburst from Violet Craft. The stars are paper-pieced. My first time doing that in a while, had to re-teach myself.

Because I was making this for someone else, I have a bit of a photo record where I kept her updated.
