Sunshine

This is Phoebe’s Christmas present. Kim Schlossberg of Schlossberg Designs (and Phoebe’s former Sunday school teacher)  very kindly created the graphic for me. I traced the pattern (backwards) onto Wonder Under and then ironed it onto the backside of the fabric, cut it out, and ironed it onto the field. I used free motion quilting on the close inside edge of all the pieces. I used variagated thread and went over each line multiple times so that the parts that were messy would look like I did it on purpose. I had a layer of medium weight interfacing behind the fabric. Then I used my favorite tool, the staple gun, and staple-gunned this to an inexpensive canvas frame from a hobby store.
