Quilt made with Crayons

I can’t recall the purpose or impetus for this quilt. I remember I used scraps of fabric I already had, and I bought the pattern on Etsy, mostly to get the alphabet, I think. The letters are colored in with crayon and then set with an iron. This is one of the few quilts we actually still have. It’s held up well. It’s all quilt-in-the-ditch. This is the beginning of me realizing I do not like the quilting part of making a quilt. I love the design and the cutting and the piecing and/or applique and binding, but the creation of the quilt sandwich is not as much fun. Fortunately, you can pay people to do that part.
