At the October Dallas Modern Quilt Guild meeting, we were all instructed to bring in “low volume” fabrics. Low volume mean fabrics that would show up white in a black and white photograph. We then ripped our fabric in half and passed half to the person next to us. We did this again and again until each of us had about 15 different low volume fabrics. Then the challenge was to make something from it. I made this pillow, using a super high volume fabric for the field.
Love the pillow, and the weekend sounds like it was fun. Did you meet any nice people?
