Edit: McCall’s Quilting featured this in their June/July issue in the Quilter to Quilter section! They also sent me two copies of the magazine and a queen-sized batting.
I came across the pattern for this quilt back in April, 2013, in McCall’s Quilting, not where I usually find inspiration. It was already a twin size so that made me think of Phoebe. The magazine sat on my desk for a while, open to that page. I finally realized I could make it with different colors.
Here’s the original pink. Plus the label. And the coordinating pillow I made from Modern Quilt Studio‘s Passports line.
The inspiration for the colors came from this sweater and hat Phoebe picked out at the Gap one day.
